Meet Our Founder
Dr. Cedric Habiyaremye drives Origencia Group with a unique blend of science and strategy. As the founder of QuinoaHub—a US Department of State-recognized Vision for Adapted Crops and Soils (VACS) champion—he pioneered climate-resilient agriculture to fight world hunger, earning the 2018 World Hunger Leadership Award. His work with the United Nations FAO, Washington State University, Harvard University, and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, alongside roles in the Aspen Strategy Group and UN Committee on World Food Security, and Food Systems for the Future Institute, reflects his global influence. A sustainability advocate and former refugee, Dr. Habiyaremye’s journey fuels our mission to create lasting impact.
